1. Designated Agent
Interim contact while USCO registration is pending:
- Name: Leandro Varela Gomez (Compliance Owner)
- Email: legal@yourcrew.net
- Subject line:
DMCA Takedown — [your name or company]
Send only DMCA notices to this address. General support and account issues go through the regular channels.
2. Required elements of a notice
To be effective under § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- 01A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or someone authorised to act on their behalf).
- 02Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- 03Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to allow us to locate it (typically the URL of the profile or post).
- 04Your contact information — full name, address, telephone number, and email.
- 05A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 06A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Notices missing any of the six elements may be invalid. Filing a materially false notice may expose you to liability under § 512(f).
3. What we do with a valid notice
Upon receipt of a notice that substantially complies with § 512 (c)(3), we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material within a reasonable time (typically 48–72 hours).
- Notify the user who posted the material, including a copy of your notice (we may redact your contact details depending on jurisdiction).
- Inform you when the takedown is complete (use the email you provided).
4. Counter-notice procedure
If you are the user whose content was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake or that the material is non-infringing, you may submit a counter-notice under § 512(g). The counter-notice must include all of:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material and its prior location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is located (or for users outside the U.S., the Southern District of New York).
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
Counter-notices go to the same Designated Agent email above with subject line DMCA Counter-Notice.
5. Repeat infringer policy
In accordance with § 512(i)(1)(A), accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers will be terminated. We maintain an internal log of valid takedown notices per account.
